Lucía Lainez is a bilingual speech-language pathologist, lactation mentor, caregiver coach, and feeding specialist. She has 15 years of experience combining academic, clinical, and professional worlds to provide culturally-appropriate support for hundreds of families across education, non-profit, and private practice settings in the Bay area. Lucía specializes in providing support to infants and young children under the age of 5, particularly during the first 6 months of life. She is an expert in working with nontraditional caregivers such as single parents, grandparents, and foster parents, She provides judgment-free, compassionate support so together we can end to womb-to-prison pipeline. Lucía is of Nicaraguan descent, born and raised in San Francisco. and a proud mami to her college-going son.

Karina Saechao (she/her/hers)
M.A. CCC-SLP/L, Assistive Technology Consultant
Karina is a bidialectal Speech-Language Pathologist and Assistive Technology Specialist. She specializes in language, literacy, complex communication, inclusion, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), assistive technology, and caregiver and educator coaching and support. She has devoted her entire career to serving children ages birth to 22 years old and their educational teams, caregivers, families, and community members via direct and consultation services across the home, school, and community settings. She strives to increase equity, access, and outcomes as related to language, communication, course curriculum, and environment. She was born and raised in Oakland, CA where her family has resided for five generations.
